The Classic Hurricane Cocktail: You Control the “Speed” of this Tropical Classic
🍹 Ingredients
- 2 oz orange juice
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 2 oz passion fruit juice (or mango juice if unavailable)
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz grenadine syrup
- Orange slice and cherry for garnish
🧾 Directions
“Category 1” Version:
- Fill a shaker with ice.
- Add all juices and grenadine. Shake well until chilled.
- Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.
“Category 5” Version:
- Add 2 oz light rum and 2 oz dark rum.
- Follow the same steps above, adding both rums to the shaker with the juices.
- Shake well, pour over ice, and garnish.
May these be the ONLY hurricanes we encounter in 2025!
