Easy Peach Cobbler: A Fun and Easy Recipe in Time for Peach Cobbler Day

This easy peach cobbler will be a fun, easy addition to your Easter menu or Peach Cobbler Day celebration - April 13th, in case you forgot.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 (15 oz) can of sliced peaches in syrup (or fresh peaches with a bit of sugar and juice)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place butter in a 9x9 or 9x13 baking dish and put it in the oven to melt while it preheats.
- In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the dish (do not stir).
- Spoon the peaches (with juice/syrup) evenly over the batter. Again, do not stir.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve warm—optionally with vanilla ice cream!
