Naturally sweet, bubbly and refreshing... Ahhhhh!

When the Central Florida weather starts heating up, sometimes the best recipe is one that requires no oven, no stove, and almost no effort. This Strawberry Lime Mocktail is cool, bright, lightly sweet, and easy to assemble for a quiet afternoon or a casual get-together.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup, to taste
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice
  • Fresh mint leaves or rosemary, optional but recommended

Directions

  1. In a glass or small pitcher, muddle the strawberries until juicy.
  2. Add lime juice and sweetener, then stir well.
  3. Fill glasses with ice and spoon the strawberry mixture over the top.
  4. Top with sparkling water and gently stir.
  5. Garnish with mint or rosemary and a lime wedge.

Easy Variations

Coat the rim of the glass with salt or sugar before adding ingredients to boost the sweetness or create a savory contrast.

Go from ā€œmocktailā€ to ā€œcocktailā€ by adding your favorite champagne or prosecco instead of sparkling water.

You can also substitute strawberries with pineapple, watermelon, or mixed berries for a fresh twist.

šŸ“ Simple, refreshing, and easy to customize — this is the kind of warm-weather recipe worth keeping on repeat.
